Pride, in silver plate, is an acknowledged modern classic. David Mellor's first cutlery design, it was included in the earliest of the Design Centre Awards in 1957. This famous cutlery is now in many international collections. Knives are ivory or black acetal resin, or silver plate. The design is close in character to the best Old English silver cutlery, but its lightness, slimness and precision of detailing gives it great modernity.
